In a city of immigrants searching for redemption and stargazed hopefuls wanting to break into the industry Michael Catherwood, a native Angelino, is an anomaly. A product of Mexican and Caucasian parents Michael embodies the cultural variety and eclectic composition of the city he has always proudly called home. In and out of struggling bands all his life, Michael is a self described failed actor who fell back on the only thing that ever made sense to him; Rock and Roll. As a member of the highly rated and respected Kevin and Bean Morning Show, Catherwood makes his living at KROQ-FM 106.7. He's the assistant producer for the Kevin and Bean show on KROQ Los Angeles, he frequently stars in man-on-the-street segments as well as outlandish song parodies such as "Hey There Vagina," "Brow Down," and "Lean Like a Homo," each of which has been the subject of controversy. Psycho Mike is also an amateur body builder and a certified personal trainer, and has appeared in several segments educating listeners about exercise and nutrition.
