Hollywood Prom 2009 - Friday, May 15th

This May, we are creating a Prom like no other. Avalon - the legendary Hollywood venue - will play host to 2000+ people and be transformed into another world...taking you back to your high school prom days.

There will be a national act performing live (as the Prom Band) during the event as well as multiple national DJs spinning in both the VIP and general areas. VIPs will have backstage and gifting suite access as well.

Hollywood Prom History

Hollywood Prom began two years ago as a simple idea - a themed birthday party for Brad Hoss, creator. The event, hosted by Dennis Haskins (Mr. Belding), was kicked off with a basic online voting site where visitors voted for the Prom Queen, who was crowned at the event with the King, Brad Hoss. What began as a unique party quickly grew into a city-wide phenomena.

In 2008, Hoss unveiled a competition for both the King and Queen crowns made up of mix of scenesters and celebrities as the candidates. The city embraced the concept, shown through the website traffic which brought thousands of visitors, voting for their favorite King and Queen. The event attendance both years exceeded 1000 people, including an array of celebrities, taste-makers, and influential people.
